District as part of my dissertation research project.
1994-1995 - Graduate Assistant responsible for teaching music to
elementary classroom teachers at Penn State University -

District. Taught classes K-12 and conducted Middle and High
School bands and chorus.
1987-present - Private instruction on stringed instruments (violin, viola,
cello, classical guitar, banjo, and mandolin). Instruction in

April, 1996 - Presented a research report on composition programs designed
for 2nd grade students at the Pennsylvania Music Educators
Association annual conference in Valley Forge, PA.
April, 1995 - Presented a paper entitled Music in the Home School at the
Pennsylvania Music Educators Association annual conference in
Monroeville, PA.
Fall 1995 - Published a paper entitled Music in Home Education: A
Creative Approach to Understanding Music in the Home School
Researcher (Vol. 11, No. 2).
1994-1995 - Assistant director of the Penn State Glee Club, University
Park.
1989 - Received a commission from the Elk County Council of the Arts
to compose a choral work for full chorus and instrumental
accompaniment. The piece, Christmas Cantata was premiered

Guitar Quartets performed at the International Guitar
