Associates will gain knowledge through formal training, on the job learning, mentor relationships and exposure to senior leaders from the NCC team. BASIC FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Coordinate the resolution of network communications problems. Create and update trouble tickets to track and follow up on problems. Regularly update documentation and procedures as necessary. 2. Maintain an awareness and practical working knowledge of network technologies as they apply to ADP products and services supported by the NCC. Candidate must strive to obtain a thorough working knowledge of equipment and monitoring tools. Candidate must possess the ability to perform analysis on IP network related issues. 3. Support, monitor and troubleshoot problems on Cisco Routers and Switches, TCP/IP Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and RIP), network security, and LAN/Wan technologies (Frame Relay, MPLS, VPN, ATM, TDM, etc.)
QualificationsRequired (Experience, Skills, Academic): QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: . Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. . Basic understanding of network technologies Additional Skills: . Strong analytical and problem solving skills . Able to identify and correct causes of problems . Ability to work on multiple tasks and in a team environment . Demonstrate exceptional client service and commitment . Aptitude for quickly acquiring and demonstration of new skills . Excellent communication skills, both orally and written .
