The portfolio includes heritage brands JOHNSON'S® Baby and BAND-AID® Brand, as well as leading skin care brands such as AVEENO® and CLEAN & CLEAR®.%0A %0AThe primary responsibility of this business relationship analyst will be to serve as the customer facing for the McNeil based Forecast Excellence (FE) application, providing technical and business process support to the Brand Strategy Insights (BSI) team. This 'Demand Side' IT position will have the primary responsibility of supporting the McNeil site with respect to baseline support tasks and enhancements for the FE system. Additionally, the position will serve as the point person for the use of consumption data sources across the Ft. Washington campus. The primary consumption data sources involved would be Point of Sale (POS) and IRI Syndicated Consumption fed directly from IRI to J&J IT. The core responsibility of the position will be in Business Relationship support for the FE system. This robust forecasting system is an integral application for the BSI group. The system leverages data from several internal and external data sources: POS Data from Everest, Master Data from SAP, IRI data from IRI, Shipment Data from ODS/DRC, Net Sales Adjustments from BRAT, and Forecast Data from External Vendor based upon outbound data feeds to the vendor. The analyst will interact with the business users and internal/external partners on a daily basis to: provide proactive and timely response to all support requests; ensure that all required data and processing is completed, as required, to support system processing; identify, assess and resolve all system and data issues; identify opportunities for enhancement and improved forecasting processes; ensure the application is delivering the expected business value; facilitate business process definition sessions with the user community; collect business requirements and validate business process designs; conduct impact analysis of changes to the system and its processes within the system as well as - across other system 'touch points'; document business requirements, prepare functional specifications, review technical specifications and coordinate development activities; actively manage support and the involvement of power users and key end users; ensure that IT solutions provide the functionality defined in the business requirements; coordinate and participate in integration and testing of new or updated system functionality; coordinate and assist with the training of all users on new or updated system functionality. Through the support of the FE application, the analyst will also become a subject matter expert in the acquisition, storage, and business use of POS and IRI syndicated data. The analyst will interact on a regular basis with their Manager located in Morris Plains as well as with their counterpart Business Relationship Analyst located in Skillman. Bi-Weekly meetings will be held for the team to provide status updates, discuss issues and opportunities, and to leverage learning's and practices across the business with relation to consumption data and forecasting processes. The analyst will have a high level of interaction with the FE and POS 'Supply Side' IT analysts and assigned technical resources. This interaction involves the investigation and triage of reported issues, transference of findings to the technical resources, and resolution confirmation followed by status updates to the business users. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience is required. Experience in Project Management is required. Past relationship management experience with IT user communities is required. Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment required. A demonstrated ability for rapid understanding of business processes and their technology implications is required. An experienced functional background with Forecasting systems and consumption data is beneficial but not required.
