A company that designs, manufactures and markets electronic motion
control systems needs a Supply Chain Manager to provide strategic and
tactical leadership for their Controls Group. You will develop and
implement supply chain management strategies that focus on quality,
cost, delivery and innovation.
They are looking for someone with experience in electronics
manufacturing, a strong negotiator, someone hands-on (rather than
accustomed to delegating everything), very computer savvy, strong
analytical skills, focused on cost savings, preferably someone with
Far East sourcing experience.
Requirements:
o. 5+ years experience in supply chain management for electronics
manufacturing (Required)
o. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Required) (Familiarity with e-
commerce usage is a plus.)
o. Bachelor degree required. (Supply Chain, Materials Management,
Operations Management or similar major preferred.) Advanced degree a
plus.
o. Record of continuing education (APICS, CPM, or equivalent) is a
plus.
o. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing is a plus.
o. Far East sourcing experience a plus
