A high tech optical software and optical engineering services company
has an opening for a full time Lead Test Software Engineer. The
client is an employee-owned, high-tech optical software and optical
engineering services company that has been in business since 1963 and
shipping commercial software since 1975.
To be qualified for this position, you must have experience with both
Windows and Unix in an Agile environment and be comfortable
maintaining operating systems used for testing.
Responsibilities:
o. Lead efforts of other test engineers in a distributed team
environment
o. Work with product owners and developers to identify, modify and
monitor testing needs for product features under development
o. Write test plans and matrices
o. Assessing GUI for the purpose of creating and documenting manual
test scenarios
o. Maintenance of automated testcase suites
Requirements:
o. 5 years experience in software testing (Required)
o. Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies in
Windows, Unix and Agile environments (Required)
o. 2+ years experience as a software test Team Lead (Required)
o. Proven record in writing, prioritizing and executing software test
plans (Required)
o. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline ( Physics, Math,
Engineering) (Required)
o. Experience using CAD software (ex. SolidWorks) is a plus
