The world’s leading developer of digital investigation and forensic
software is looking for a junior to intermediate software engineer who
eats, drinks and sleeps device drivers.
In this position you will be mentored by the world’s leading architect
of forensic software. You will be part of a close-knit team
developing the industry standard state-of-the-art forensic software
that is used by almost every computer forensic professional in the
world.
This is a high-visibility, highly important job that will position you
to be the next big name in forensic software engineering. What you do
will make a difference and will enable you to raise to the absolute
top of your field!
Requirements:
o. 4 - 6 years of experience developing Windows-based device drivers C/
C++ (Required) Client does not want candidates with over 6 years of
overall IT experience. This is a junior to intermediate position.
o. Experience using kernel-mode debug tools like Microsoft WinDbg and
Numega SoftICE (Required)
o. Experience with both Windows and non-Windows file systems & file
formats (Required)
o. Experience programming various Windows driver installation programs
(Required)
o. Degree in Computer Engineering or related field (Required)
o. Experience with analysis packages such as StaticDV, PREFast and
Veirfier a plus
o. Experience with Intel Assembly language a plus
o. Experience with USB/1394/SCSI/IDE storage drivers a major plus
Notes:
o. The client is specifically looking for a HOT HOT HOT junior to
intermediate engineer (not a senior engineer) who can be groomed and
mentored to eventually become the leading developer of forensic device
drivers in the world.
o. Local candidates preferred but relocation may be available for
highly qualified candidates
