3 month contract to hire for the Frameworks Team. It is the
candidate's option as to whether or not they hire on. They do have the
option to extend. If we have a candidate that is only wanting to
contract, they will only be able to promise three month contracts at a
time. However, it is their desire to hire these folks. This candidate
will work on a wide variety of applications such as BEA Web Logic
order entry applications, middleware, and stand alone Java batch
applications. We will train this candidate on one of the many core
components our team is responsible and about every 3 to 4 months move
them onto a new core component such that after roughly 2 years
they'll be able to fill any role on our team. Here are the areas in
which the teams can work:
-Batch Operations (they need two people in this area and they can be
junior with just some Java experience.
-Production Support-HOWEVER there is new development to be done on
this team
-WebLogic Upgrade from 8.0 to 10.0
-Application Enhancements team-new development as well
-Developer with some testing experience--they are looking for some one
with strong Java and potentially QTP as well. Some of the scripts are
outmated, but the reporting of the test results are not. They are
looking for someone to come in and write scripts that will automate
the reports.
