Sr QA Analyst
GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for developing and executing complex test
plans to ensure delivery of quality information systems and/or
software programs that conform to organization standards and user
requirements. Serves as subject matter expert for assigned area.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Develops project test plans, writes test
cases/scripts and performs tests. Evaluates and documents complex test
results. Checks the work of junior level Analysts. - Provides
leadership for the product development process including, but not
limited to, requirements definition, system analysis, design and
implementation. - Develops test standards for script development,
deployment and reuse. - Documents complex problems and assists with
their resolution. Reports progress on problem resolution to
management. - Serves as subject matter expert for assigned areas.
Evaluates proposed software or software enhancements for feasibility.
Makes recommendations to management regarding the acquisition and/or
implementation of software to increase information systems efficiency.
- Performs quality audits to ensure standards, procedures and
methodologies are being followed. - Utilizes knowledge of business
practices to perform complex work flow analysis and recommend quality
improvements. - Monitors post-implementation system/program
performance to prevent reoccurrence of operational issues and ensure
efficiency of operation. - Serves as liaison between the system users
and the technical team. Monitors post-implementation system/program

efficiency of operation. Uses T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) to test and
validate data and processes.
- Performs other duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS - Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Significant (5+ years) experience in systems development, quality
assurance or testing. - Experience with medical billing and/or
healthcare applications preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge of
software development life cycle. - Ability to work on multiple
projects as a team member. - Strong skills required in analytical
thinking, problem solving, verbal and written communication and
interpersonal interaction.
