QA Engineer
Skills Required:
The QA Engineer will ensure a thorough test approach of web systems in
a highly complex environment. The candidate will possess proven
ability to:
· Create, review, organize, and maintain documentation such as test
plans and procedures for software and data products
· Design, develop, and analyze complex test data scenarios for driving
functional and end-to-end test cases and automated scripts
· Evaluate test automation tools and propose new ways for improving
software quality efficiency
· Provide project leads and management staff with clear, accurate, and
concise problem descriptions
· Manage software defects through resolution with development
· Develop and execute functional, UI, performance, and integration
test cases
· Collaborate with team members on product requirements, architecture
reviews, UI design, application design, database design, and
implementation reviews
· Follow department software development guidelines and processes
Skills:
Position Requirements:
· BS degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 4
years experience in Quality Assurance in a commercial software
development environment
· 2+ years of testing large-scale J2EE applications and SOA testing
experience
· Strong knowledge of testing Object Oriented and J2EE applications
· Strong knowledge of Java Web Services design principles and APIs
· Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST, Apache, Apache AXIS2, XML, WSDL,
JDBC, and UDDI standards
