QA Technician
Responsibilities: Assist with the development and maintenance of the
inspection system software program. Develop inspection plans to be
utilized during receiving, in process, and final inspection. Develop
and maintain the Inspection System Software program Assists in the
coordination and execution of process validation activities, including
creation of inspection plans, gage R&R studies, process capability
studies. Creates Coordinate Measuring Machine programs to be utilized
during receiving, in-process and/or final inspection. Creates Vision
Measuring Machine programs to be utilized during receiving, in-process
and/or final inspection. Review existing inspection plans for
effectiveness. Assists in the disposition of non-conforming material
and the implementation of corrective action. Trains employees in the
use of equipment and on inspection procedures
Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) in Quality Control; or three years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Understanding of mechanical part drawings; capable of
using a wide variety of measuring equipment. GD&T - Able to operate
all aspects of a coordinate measuring machine including the ability to
program simple routines to industry accepted practices. - Working
knowledge of quality tools and practices such as validation and
verification procedures, statisical process control, gage, process
capability evaluation, corrective and preventive action processes. -
Strong skills in documenting inspection results and compiling other
forms of verfication and validation in report formats that are
accurate and complete. Desired: CMM programming experience.
