Lead/Mgr IT Quality Assurance, Oracle Implementation
Position Description This position will be responsible to lead the
Quality Assurance team for the Oracle Implementation. The Quality
Assurance team will be responsible for functional, regression and
performance testing of the Oracle Implementation including writing
scripts, executing tests, and recording and analyzing results. This
team would also establish "pass/fail" metrics. As a member of the
global applications support team this position will work closely with
local business and project resources to understand the global
functional and non-functional requirements for testing the system. In
addition, this position will also be responsible for ensuring that
site specific and custom requirements are tested to work in
conjunction with the Global footprint. This position will establish
and lead the team that will manage all testing for the Oracle
Applications implementation and its related reports, interfaces,
conversions, and extensions. This position should have intimate
knowledge of the testing phases of the Oracle AIM methodology as well
as knowledge of industry best practices for functional and stress
testing. Some familiarity with and awareness of testing tools such as
Mercury Load Runner, Quick Test Professional, and Quality Center are
also required.
Responsibilities: Key Tasks
• Define Requirements Traceability Matrix for testing • Define
requirements for functional and non-functional testing of the Oracle
Applications • Define requirements for testing reports, interfaces,
conversions, and extensions • Develop automated processes for
executing system tests • Perform Automated testing to support
Conference Room Pilots • Perform System Integration testing • Perform
Stress and Performance testing • Perform Regression testing to support
changes and updates. • As necessary, select and implement tools to
assist with automated test execution. • Lead and manage automated
testing activities across sites, responsible to Project Management
Office • After implementation should provide leadership towards
continuous improvement • Teaching and Developing users at the site on
the testing methodology and toolset • Document and review materials
for setup and training
Minimum Required Qualifications Level of education required: Bachelors
Degree
Qualifications: Experience Level:
? Three years related work experience required ? Previous experience
in implementing automated testing tools such as Mercury Load Runner,
Quick Test Professional, and Quality Center preferred ? Proficiency in
the use of software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word
processing required.
