Position : Senior Generative AI Engineer / LLM Engineer (Capital Markets)

Location: Broadway, New York NY 10019

Contract

Experience: 10+ Years

Required Qualifications :

2+ years of dedicated experience delivering Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.

5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack development expertise.

Proficiency in Python and/or Java.

Proven experience building and operating production-grade GenAI platforms.

Strong experience with:

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

Agentic workflows

Tool and function calling

Structured outputs and workflow orchestration

LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks

Expertise in LLMOps practices including:

Prompt engineering and version management

Evaluation frameworks

Regression testing

Monitoring and observability

Reliability and performance measurement

Experience building AI-first data ingestion and extraction pipelines with measurable quality and accuracy metrics.

Strong understanding of vector search technologies and retrieval optimization techniques.

Experience with:

Multi-vector retrieval

Metadata filtering

Re-ranking strategies

Multi-stage retrieval pipelines

Advanced retrieval approaches such as ColBERT

Solid understanding of retrieval and ranking metrics including Recall, Precision, MRR, NDCG, latency, and quality trade-offs.

Experience diagnosing and resolving production AI issues such as model regressions, retrieval degradation, prompt drift, and data quality challenges.

 

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience within Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Institutional Lending, or Financial Services domains.

Experience working in regulated environments with strong audit and compliance requirements.

Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, entitlement models, and data governance practices.

Experience building reusable internal AI platforms and developer tooling.

Front-end development experience using React or Angular.
