Job Summary
We're looking for a Product Owner with 5+ years of experience to lead the integration strategy for a Product Information Management (PIM) system. This is an onsite role in Chicago, IL, with up to 25% travel. You'll be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, focusing on cloud-based integrations, data flows, and API development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PIM platforms and the eCommerce or manufacturing industry, with expertise in Agile methodologies and managing a product backlog.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the long-term strategy and roadmap for PIM system integrations.
- Define and manage the product backlog, writing user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and external data providers to build roadmaps for seamless data integration.
- Oversee API lifecycle management, including design, documentation, and testing.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable rapid and reliable deployments.
- Optimize data flows for performance, security, and compliance using cloud services.
- Collaborate with cloud architects to ensure integrations align with enterprise strategy.
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership or a similar role in an Agile environment.
- Proven expertise with cloud-based system integrations, API development, and data flow optimization.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Deep knowledge of the eCommerce, retail, or manufacturing industry, including PIM platforms.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with eCommerce platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud or PIM solutions like Salsify.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
