Job Overview
Conduent is seeking a SOA Developer (Oracle) + Admin (Additional Benefit) with cloud expertise who will be part of the Common Technology Platform Services group contributing across efforts in the group including in the areas of Payments, Analytics, etc. This role requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step into different roles depending on the situation, size and scope of the project; its primary responsibility is to be one of the key people in terms of full stack development in the group.
Experience Needed
· 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
· A BS or Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required
· Strong understanding/knowledge of Software Design Patterns
· Consistently implement stable, efficient code conforming to project coding standards, working within a defined architecture
· Is familiar with the principles and practices involved in development and maintenance of software solutions and architectures and in service delivery
· Support existing applications in production
· Possess excellent troubleshooting skills
· Support presentations and demos to Customers and Partners
- This position requires expert knowledge in Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic administration, installation and configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery methods in multiple computing environments (Unix, Linux).
- Ideal candidate must be well versed in J2EE, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Data Integration, Web Services, API security, LDAP, XML, Access Management and Identity Management.
- Configure and administer Oracle Fusion Middleware infrastructure components, including and not limited to, WebLogic Suite (WLS, Coherence, and Java SE), SOA Suite (Adapters, BPEL, BAM, Business Rules, OSB, and OWSM), and Oracle IAM Suite.
- Setting up and maintaining Middleware infrastructure in the Development, Test,
- Staging and Production Environments.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades and system resource optimization.
- Provide Tier III/other support per project needs; investigate and troubleshoot issues; perform regular log analysis and security monitoring.
- Liaisons with the Infrastructure team, Application team, Architecture team, ISP, third parties, as necessary.
- Unix knowledge with experience in writing shell scripts, creating cron jobs, installing FMW on Linux.
- Create and guide application teams with Load Balancer, Farm request, and Firewall rule requests for all pre-production and production environments.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning, testing and execution as needed.
- Plan and implement MW upgrades and patches to stay current and on supported patch sets and versions.
