position summary:

Design, architect, lead and build Proof of Concepts in AWS/Azure cloud.

Work closely with a team of architects, engineers, and developers to create functional design specifications.

Lead and develop best practices for larger Cloud Engineering team

Closely coordinate with DevOps team on additional cloud automation above the infrastructure layer

Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud

Responsible for design, development, and architecture of Cloud solutions.

Help to manage the planning, implementation, and growth of T-Mobile’s cloud footprint.

Work closely with developers and engineers to recommend and design database or data storage solutions that effectively reflect our business needs, security, and service level requirements

Manage the migration of existing databases from on premise to cloud using various tools provided

Review coding done to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development

Analyze application for data integrity issues

Mentor less experienced technical staff; may use high end development tools to assist or facilitate development process

Development of automated solutions to monitor and support our software development and release processes
