Looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain & Analytics Team.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for building operational models that support operational initiatives, and providing analytically based insights that improve the operational and financial performance of the Supply Chain. We also build new analysis from ground up, and propose new concepts for improving the efficiency within the supply chain. The ideal candidate will have an advanced analytics background, will be comfortable using technology to understand and organize large amounts of data, and will be versed in operations research and supply chain performance management. This position also requires superior analytical thinkers, able to quickly approach large ambiguous problems, apply your technical and engineering skills to rapidly prototype, and deliver solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Collect, track, and evaluate operational activity and key performance indicators across the Restoration Hardware Supply Chain.

·         Develop and maintain models that associate key supply chain activity and events with financial performance.

·         Perform complex data analysis, which includes root cause analysis, regressions, correlations and optimizations to drive improvements within supply chain.

·         Extract and manipulate data across various data sources, along with deep diving into data to analyze root causes.

·         Identify operational performance improvement opportunities.

·         Overall ability to synthesize and simplify complex data and quantitative findings into meaningful business recommendations that drive financial and operational performance improvement.

Required:

·         2 – 3 years of experience as a data or supply chain analyst dealing with large complex data scenarios.

·         Bachelor or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Logistics, Advanced Mathematics or any other quantitative field

·         Familiarity with supply chain concepts – logistics network planning, optimization, forecasting – either gained through work experience or graduate degree.

·         Strong SQL and data organizational skills – Ability to create and maintain high volume data (transfer, transform, clean, and update).

·         Exceptional MS Excel and Access Skills (strong VBA)

Prefer:

·         Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, Microstrategy).

·         Python or R
