Must Have:
· 9-10+ Years of experience developing .Net.
· Experience in the use of VB.Net, C# and ASP.Net using Visual Studio 2008 through 2015
· Experience using AZURE, POWER BI cloud based /design development
· Experience with Windows server 2003, 2008 and 2012 administration

· Experience with eDOCS and FILENET
· Experience with Oracle database upgrades (9i and newer)
· Experience supporting web based applications
· Experience with Microsoft AJAX

SUMMARY of the FUNCTION/Role
· Law Applications is seeking temporary consultants to augment staff to help with the backlog of MTA IT Department of Law web based applications requests (ARMS, PLIS, WCIS, GLIS, and TABIS) written in VB.NET and in the implementation of multiple development and upgrade projects as outlined below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Assist the Law Applications group with the backlog of Department of Law WEB based requests.
· Perform analysis of current server environment and develop system requirements and system design for the current backlog of application requests.
· Develop and maintain technical and standard documentation for program development activity in a timely and high-quality manner
· Design, develop, test, implement and closeout of the current WEB applications backlog requests.
2) Adhere to a Standard Project Development Life Cycle approach
· Develop and support critical project documentation throughout the project life cycle, from Initiation and requirements stages through design, development, test, implementation and closeout. This includes but is not limited to as-is and to-be process flows, requirements documentation, test plans, implementation plan, user manuals, training materials, transition documentation, etc.
· Support system integration testing, UAT, and implementation cutover testing
