•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 to 5 years of professional QA experience.

•    Experience formally testing Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and Web applications.

•    Experience in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Perl, JavaScript, or Groovy.

•    An understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts

 

Delighters - Experience with:

•    JIRA, TestRail, Confluence, Git, Jenkins.

•    Software Automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, PyTest, Squish, TestComplete, etc.

•    Unified Communications systems such as CUCM, AsteriskPBX, MSFT Teams Room, Zoom Room, Google Meet, etc.

•    Software and Network Security testing.

•    Installing, configuring, and tuning sound systems.

•    Audio/Video production

 

 

looking for a mid to senior level Software QA Engineer to be an individual contributor, lead test efforts for a given project, and to help expand automated test coverage within our cross-platform, multi-product Test Automation Framework.

 

You will be contributing to a tight-knit team of Software, Firmware, DSP, SQA and Test Automation Engineers in testing best in class professional audio software applications used to design, configure, and control Professional audio amplifiers and signal processors that drive our award-winning loudspeakers.

 

Responsibilities

•    Quickly and efficiently, learn PSD products, applications, and customer workflows

•    Work with Product Management, Software Development, and SQA to understand product requirements to devise the most effective testing strategies

•    Lead and contribute directly to SQA test efforts

•    Create and manually execute test plans and test runs leveraging TestRail

•    Create and maintain automated test scripts in Python to improve regression-testing capabilities

•    Clearly and effectively, create measurable results in a timely fashion

•    Contribute to the continuous improvement of SQA processes and best practices

•    Help oversee and direct partner SQA activities

•    Be an advocate for the customer and product quality

 

Required Skills:

•    Software QA best practices

•    Ability to lead QA efforts and effectively collaborate with a multi-disciplined engineering team

•    Can drive the creation and successful execution of a test plan to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product

•    Experience testing integrated systems – Hardware, Software, Firmware, and end-to-end interoperability Experience testing Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS applications

•    Experience creating/maintaining automated test scripts written in Python (or similar scripting language).

•    Applied knowledge of computer networking concepts

•    Self-motivated with an ability to self-manage with little direction

•    Methodical and detail oriented - Can logically and analytically break down problem statements into smaller, discrete, and easier to solve problem sets

•    Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies

•    Excellent verbal/writing/reporting skills.
