Description-:

Serve as the onsite SAP functional SME to provide a linkage between client CORE ERP members, Hitachi SAP CoP consultants, onsite automation test engineers and the testing project manager. Skills SAP FICO, SD, MM, PP, IM Procurement, MDM, MDG. This role involves facilitation and communication skills with SAP functional expertise. This is not a heavy SAP configuration role. Tricentis Tosca experience or exposure is a plus. Provide test facilitation, author test cases, personal organization and communication skills are as important as SAP skills.

Deliverables-:

• Act as a single point of contact for all SAP related queries that the Automation team has. Provide SAP specific guidance to the automation team

• Will work closely with the Test Captains in CORE ERP Team and Functional team to procure all specific process and customizations information for the automation engineers to build meaningful automation scripts

• Evaluate the feasibility of automating the manual test scripts in the test library and provide inputs for finalizing the Automation feasibility criteria for future reference

Job Description:

• 7+ years of SAP Solution Architect Design Lead experience in SAP WM/PP

• 7+ years of Functional Configuration expertise in SAP WM/PP is a must.

• 5+ years implementation experience with WM module.

• 5+ years implementation experience with PP module integrating with WM and SD.

• Must have completed at least 4 SAP Full Life Cycle Implementation projects preferably WM/PP

• 2+ years of Automotive Industry Experience is a must.

• Knowledge of interfacing of 3rd party manufacturing systems into SAP WM.

• Experience with Subcontracting/Outsourced manufacturing.

• Experience performing in a lead role with high visibility projects.

• Experience with best practices related to WM touchpoints with SAP SD module rollouts or system support (optional)

• Knowledge of handling unit design/processes and batch management in SAP WM.

• Knowledge of WM forms and RF screen design/support.

• Experience with design and support of inbound and outbound WM processes including picking packing and loading.

• Experience with best practices related to SAP movement types.

• Strong ability to gather requirements and lead system blueprinting / design.

• At least 2 years of support experience performing lead role.

• Knowledge of integrating new business units into an existing WM application is a must.

• Knowledge of Handling Unit Management, Storage Unit Management, Scheduling Agreements, Grouping Deliveries, Spit Deliveries, Configuring RF Transaction and Screens is a must.

• Good understanding material master views, master data, sales orders, stock types, movement types, transfer order, transfer requirements, pro number, seal numbers, trailer numbers, bill of laden, packaging material, packaging instruction, and serialization.

• Client facing expertise with excellent communication skills

• Should be an expert in the following: End to End Warehouse Processing, Lots/Batches, Warehouse Transportation (Inbound& Outbound), Inventory & Storage Movements, IDoc Processing Interfaces

• Exposure to small team environments / Executive Management Interactions.

• Implementing new manufacturing plants to existing SAP WM module.

• Extensive experience with Warehouse Optimization, Gap Analysis, and Enhancements.

• Knowledge of System Testing and End User Training.

• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver superior business outcomes.

• Ability to meet and exceed very short project deadlines.

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of MS Project to update project plans.

• Understanding of SharePoint to retrieves and store documentation.

• Understanding of Personas and Slip Screen technologies.

• Knowledge of ITS Mobile pertaining to RF Scanners and Mobile Tablets.

• Good understanding of Bartend Software.

• Functional Specs and Configuration Specs where needed.

• Test scripts where needed to support configuration changes.

• Training documentation such as quick reference guides.

• Meeting minutes as needed.

• Defect remediation and system troubleshooting.

Notes-:

Resource must provide their own laptop equipped to support the SAP GUI

The laptop must contain an up to date virus protection software

The laptop must also be equipped with Microsoft office software for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
