Location : Long Island City, NY

Interview: Phone/ Skype

Duration of contract: 1 year

Client : TCS(WWW.TCS.Com)

Job Description:

Performs engineering activities with specific knowledge and skills associated with the following technologies:

IP Routing Protocols: OSPF, ISIS, BGP.

IP Protocols used to deliver multicast traffic (IGMP, PIM).

Multi-Protocol Technologies: LDP, RSVP, MPLS.

IP Protocols: TCP, UDP.

Ethernet Technologies: gigE, 10 gigE, VLANs, 802.1Q (VLAN tagging), 802.1P (layer 2 QoS), VRRP, HSRP.

QoS Capabilities: classification, marking, queuing, policing.

IP Backbone and Suddenlink Business infrastructure capacity management.

Core IP routing technologies and vendors, specifically Cisco and Juniper

IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting.

Qualifications:-

3+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. Engineering).

2 years of experience working in IP engineering including the following:

developing, authoring and maintaining detailed network designs

troubleshooting and diagnostics experience

leading projects to enhance the network capability for existing and future services.

Requires CCNP certification and working knowledge of IP networks

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills

Excellent collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
