Summary:

This position will provide technical leadership as a data integration developer who focuses on large volume information ingestion and transformation.  Concentration will be on data design, quality screening and overall processing efficiency to support the needs of the business. This position is responsible for modeling data structures and orchestrating data interfaces into (and out of) our Enterprise Data Warehouse.  An EIM data integration specialist drives system integration through effective data storage designs and reliable information processing jobs. This role functions as part of a larger EIM team that includes Business Intelligence and Operational Reporting platforms.

General Responsibilities:

Provides thought leadership to deliver creative and efficient data related technical solutions.

Gather requirements and construct documentation to aid in maintenance and code reuse in accordance with team processes and standards.

Design, code, and test major data processing features, as well as work jointly with other team members to provide complex software enhancements for the enterprise data storage platforms.

Design and develop SQL / Java based processes to perform complex data transformation processes.

Monitor scheduled jobs and improve reliability of ongoing processing.

Monitor, measure, and enhance ways to improve system performance.

Works with BI and Ops reporting development resources to turn data into meaningful information analytics.

Coordinate and participate in application testing and quality inspections.

Participate in code reviews in accordance to standards.

Must be able to remain calm in pressure situations and adapt quickly to change.
