Job Description:
Looking for qualified individuals with experience and industry knowledge to work with the Data Team responsible for Front Office to Back Office data integrations with Charles River Development. The Business System Analyst will be responsible for working with the on-shore and off-shore teams, analysing system requirements, data gaps, alternative data sources, business rules and logic. The successful candidate must be a quick and dedicated learner, strong communicator, and have a general understanding of the investment industry.
Qualifications:
o 3-5 years’ experience in the financial services
industry
o Taken part in the analysis, design, development,
enhancement and implementation of software
solutions
o Identify, compile, analyze and document
business requirements that accurately and thoroughly
reflect business needs
o Proactively communicate and collaborate with
business teams to analyze information needs and
functional requirement. Prepare and deliver the
following artifacts: Business Requirements,
Functional Requirements, Process Flows, Use
Cases, Test cases.
o Develop, model and analyze business processes.
Assist the business in identifying ways to
maximize operational efficiencies, quality and
compliance
o Ability to solve problems, develop alternative
approaches to problems, and resolve conflicts
o Ability to work, contribute, and communicate
effectively within immediate team, business
personnel and remote teams
o Take ownership and initiative, ensuring
accuracy and quality in all deliverables
o Proficiency in PC based software and
communication facilities (Windows, MS Word,
PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, MS Visio,
SharePoint, Outlook etc.)
o Advanced SQL with understanding of relational
data structure
Experience and Skills - Desired
o Experience in Investment Compliance testing
and rules preferred
o Engagement in data conversion mapping and
testing preferred
o Understanding of the Financial Services and
banking industries preferred
o Experience in conversion and migration
activities involving client deliverables and processes
o Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS Computer Science /
Business / MIS) preferred
