Exp : Minimum 10+ Years
Must Haves:
Hands on experience in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Moderate to extensive hands-on administrative experience with Linux systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL),
Oracle Linux or Debian and/or their derivatives.
Advanced configuration management framework experience using Chef.
Practical use of distributed version control systems such as Git.
Experience with remote command execution technologies such as Salt.
Experiencing in configuring middleware and RDBMS software including JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server,
WebSphere MQ, Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
Must have an automation mindset:
Appreciates the value of automation versus repeated, manual activities.
Appreciates the value of applying collaborative software development best practices and tools to the automation of infrastructure deployment and management processes.
Experience as a mentor in software engineering.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written with strong relationship building, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
- Need strong app developer background esp as automation development.
- Building infra automation and build automation tools.
- Using Chef, and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
- Need agility with learning, esp with various languages.
- Internal training esp with patterns, practices, etc.
- Ability to ask questions and get the job done with minimal supervision
- Salt is good to have. Using same minimally now.
- Kubernetes, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud/AWS will be strategic initiative.
