Position summary:

Oracle Site-Guard

·         Simplified management for site level disaster recovery workflow

·         Both planned switchover & failover

·         Role transitions triggers

·         Integration with Data Guard Broker for Oracle databases

·         Integration with storage replication for file system artifacts

·         Oracle binaries/configuration/data

·         Applications binary/configuration/data

·         Out-of-the-box support for ZFS Storage Appliance, call outs integration with 3rd party storage replications

·         Mechanism to integrate with other DR operations

·         Load balancer configuration, Initiate DNS push, etc

·         Implementation as EM deployment procedures, Command line and GUI

·         Operations invoked via EMCLI

·         Scriptable as needed

·         Monitoring and error handling through EM console

·         Supports all end-to-end DR scenarios supported by Oracle

·         Can be used for topologies with both DB & Middle Tier (i.e. WLS) or Middle Tier alone

·         Specialized OOTB orchestration for EBS & Fusion Apps

·         Runs operations in parallel where possible

·         Offers comprehensive logging and restartable operations

·         Standby Site Validation using Snapshot Database and ZFS Clones

·         Periodic assessment of DR site in business continuity solution

·         Automated framework

·         DR infrastructure

·         Oracle VM DR

·         DR Step Level Timeouts

·         ZFS Replication Gap Analysis, Analyse replication SLA breach

·         NetApp Data ONTAP MetroCluster Integration

·         Generate and provide reports, along with standards and guidance.

·         Design, evaluate, implement, and maintain platform security, within customer standards.

·         Taking part in upgrading and updating the system’s applications, installing it with up-to-date descriptions.

·         Should strengthen the apps, the Windows server, and the principal operating system.

·         Providing technical assistance for all the servers, desktops, and services that apply business.

·         Taking full control and accountability for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

·         Ensure the integrity and availability of applications and coordinate off-hour upgrades and/or maintenance on the Citrix server.

·         Identify and apply environment best practices.

·         Explore and leverage technologies to improve the environment.

·         Support break/fix production activities.

·         Collaborate with additional teams and associates with processes and documentation.
