Location: Diamondale, MI

Duration: 6+ Months

7+ years of experience

Experience Required :

 

• Experience managing software security assessment projects that are framework-driven, questionnaire-based, and where controls evidence is gathered
• Basic understanding of application-specific controls and common controls
• Ability to handle multiple projects with sizes ranging from small to Enterprise wide
• PMP Certified
• Project Management of deployment, development, security (audit related) and migration projects
• Project Management experience working with multiple vendors and multiple project teams
• Experience in project scheduling utilizing a project scheduling tool such as MS Project
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Detailed understanding of how to report status of progress and findings during a security assessment project
• Experience using governance, risk, and compliance software
• Experience managing multiple projects at the same time at a detail level (e.g. this position is not a Program Manager/oversight role)

 

Experience Preferred

 

• Experience in Agile Scrum
• Experience writing Statement of Work and Change Notices to contracts
• Government experience
• Experience with LockpathKeylight software
• Familiar with NIST 800-53 and CJIS version 5.6 cyber security frameworks
• Experience managing application security accreditation projects at the State of Michigan

 

Job Description:

 

Potential projects include: MSP/DMVAMiCWRAP Remediation projects; MSP I-CHAT v4.0; MSPCHR-AFIS-MQ Connection project.

 

• The project manager will be assigned projects in the portfolio (as noted above or other projects) as prioritized by the State.

 

• As a member of the Program Management Office (PMO), the project manager will follow the State’s SUITE methodology (and required deliverables), and utilize the State’s project management tools, to perform project planning through project execution.
