Need To Have:
· Experience
working with DB2 in a hosted environment (virtual is nice as well but
hosted environment experience is now a major requirement).
· Experience working
within an AIX/SuSe Environment
· Experience as a DBA in
a clustered environment
· DB2 Native Encryption
experience
Nice To Have:
· SQL Optimization experience
· Experience working with
purescale clustered DB2 on AIX
· Guardiam, Database
Encryption software experience
· Experience with Q1 Labs
QRadar
The candidate will perform complex professional and advisory functions in form installation, configuration, testing, documentation IBM database software products in accordance with State policies and procedures. Confers with agency technical and other section technical as well as agency business personnel to identify and resolve issues. Works with vendors to implement, maintain, and correct problems related to target systems. Must work with multiple vendors when situation requires. Must be able to suggest viable solutions to meet business needs. Document all systems and performed actions in the approved manner. Serves as project coordinator as needed across multiple agencies and locations to determine components, schedules and assignments providing expertise, guidance and direction to staff.
There will be confidential information on the hardware they will maintain. PII and HIPPAA data will be on the hardware which maintains the eligibility system for Medicaid, TANF and SNAP. There should be no reason this group of people would be accessing the data directly. The qualified candidate will work in Springfield, Illinois at the State data center on West Adams . He or she will be required to work 40 hours per week flex shifts however, he or she will be on call for various weekends and after-hours for scheduled maintenance.
