Looking for an experienced WebLogic Middle Ware DBA. 

 

Job Description

·         The Weblogic Admin will be responsible for all activities related to the delivery and improvement of Middleware services provided to the company.

·         The position will be responsible for day to day support and maintenance as well as input on architecture and design of Client's Application Server technologies, predominately Weblogic, and their interaction other products within an enterprise solution.

·         The position will encompass everything from setup and installation through production operations.

·          The position will also be responsible for all non-production and production environments. Driving continuous improvements in the environments is essential to all work activities. 

 

Job Responsibilities

·         Performance tuning and day-to-day trouble shooting of Weblogic and other application servers across all environments. 

·         Monitoring of Weblogic and other applications servers across all environments 

·         Installation, configuration and Patching of Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, and Apache, and OHS across all environments 

·         Documentation of standard operating processes and procedures 

·         Documentation of installations and environments 

·         Security patching and vulnerability mitigation 

·         Developing WLST, and other, scripts to automate work or improve quality of service 

 

Job Requirement

·         Qualified candidates will be motivational thought leaders, driven individuals, and possess exceptional business acumen, coupled with strong working knowledge of middleware implementations 

·         Experience doing Web logic upgrade from 12.1 to 12.2 

·         7 or more years' working in Information Technology with at least 3 years performing Weblogic application server administration in a large scale environment; software development experience is a plus. 

·         Experience with UNIX and LINUX is must. Experience with Windows environments is a plus. 

·         Excellent communication skills, presenting, listening and informing. Can communicate up, down and across the organization. 

·         Experience with the ORACLE Identity Management Solution is a plus. 

·         Experience with ORACLE or SQL Server database a plus.
