Role: UNIX Administrator

Duration: 2 years

Location: Springfield IL

No Of positions: 1

Responsibilities and Skillset:

·         Password resets in Windows (Active Directory) and in Unix (LDAP).

·         Account creation.

·         Manage role based access.

·         Utilize IBM Pure app to build and configure servers.

·         Install and deploy software packages.

·         Set up and configure Puppet Servers.

·         General user maintenance.

                                                      

 

Role: Websphere Administrator

Duration: 2 years

Location: Springfield IL

No Of positions: 4

 

Responsibilities and skillset:

·         Support existing Websphere environment.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

·         Stand up new Websphere environment.

o   Install and configure new Websphere servers.

·         Create scripts to automate new server configurations.

·         Primary experience requirements for this role are:

o   Websphere Administration, Installing and configuring WebSphere.

o   IBM MQ - Installation, setup and configuration.

o   Scripting. Preferably JYCHON scripting.

o   UNIX and Linux familiarity.

                                                          

                                                              

Role: DB2 DBA

Duration: 2 years

Location: Springfield IL

No Of positions: 1

 

Responsibilities and skillset:

·         Maintain application database.

·         Perform backups, recoveries, and restores.

·         Remediate performance issues utilizing DB2 utilities.

·         Investigate application connection issues.

·         SQL tuning.

·         Upgrade and migrate databases from DB2 9.7 and 10.1 to 11.1.

·         Modify and delete queries using SQL.

·         SSL security configuration.

·         Experience needed for this role is:

1.       DB2 experience in a UDB environment.

2.       Familiarity with DB2 utilities in a UDB environment.

3.       Stand alone and Pure scale DB experience.
