Job Description:
· Evaluates service levels and contractual commitments for print/mail related services; analyzes current service level metric measurement and validation processes and recommends changes; works with teams to collect any appropriate print/mail data required for financial or contract administration or oversight
- Evaluates new SLAs and metrics or proposes revisions to existing SLAs, including automation opportunities
- Evaluates current segregation of duties and recommends improvements
- Evaluates and recommends improvements to postage transaction reconciliation and validation processes, change management processes, chargeback validation procedures
- Recommends improvements to billing processes, including automation opportunities
- Evaluates and recommends improvements to multi-sourcing integrator validation processes
- Reviews print/mail performance reports and identifies issues or opportunities for automation; develops and enhances print/mail related performance metrics to facilitate evaluation of work activities
- Reviews and proposes changes to process documentation
- Provides expert information and advice regarding print/mail services in response to inquiries; provides overall guidance regarding the technical and operational print/mail needs
- Reviews, endorses, and “forwards for approval” strategic and operational plans for the print/mail environment and change management activities related to the delivery of print/mail services

8 Progressively responsible experience managing large scale print/mail production environments. Some experience must be hands-on.
8 Experience managing capacity planning in large scale print/mail production environments.
8 Experience in forms management in large scale print/mail production environments.
8 Experience with policy and procedure creation and oversight in large scale print/mail production environments.
8 Experience managing quality control in large scale print/mail production environments.
8 Experience managing United States Post Office interfaces in large scale print/mail production environments.
8 Experience implementing print/mail related procedures, equipment and software upgrades in large scale production environments.
Preferred skill requirements in years
Years Skills/Experience
8 Extensive print/mail related planning and operational experience, including troubleshooting and resolving complex operational problems or issues
8 Extensive experience in evaluating and implementing print and mail automation
8 Experience in finance and/or accounting
8 Knowledge of Pitney Bowes presort and postage handling processes
8 Knowledge of NearStar print mail systems, including Accounting and Tracking Operations Manager
8 Experience evaluating and creating operational policy, process, and procedure documentation
8 Experience working in an outsourced print mail environment
8 Experience working in a multi-sourcing integrator environment
8 Experience working as a technical lead on transition or transformation activities related to print and/or outbound mail, especially involving multiple facilities or data centers
8 Technical/operational process certifications or formal training related to operational print and/or mail environments
