Data Platform Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA(Onsite in 3 to 4 Months)

Rate : $60/hr C2C

Visa Status GC USC H1B with Passport Number 

· Solutions engineer with 8+ yrs of hands-on experience in building big data solutions. 

· Candidate with strong experience in Kafka, Kubernetes, Spark, Hive, and AWS technologies including but not limited to S3, MSK, EKS etc

· The ideal candidate should have worked on the development and implementation of BigData solutions end to end in 1 or more projects.

· Strong debugging skills and experience in map-reduce programming using Java. Alternatively, a strong SPARK developer with a depth understanding of map-reduce paradigms.

· Deep understanding of how the query works at the internal level and what makes a bad query causing memory/performance issues

· Should have a solid understanding of SPARK, Hadoop and Map-reduce architecture

· Should have SPARK programming experience using Scala or Python. But, prefer Scala.

· Excellent verbal and written communication is a must
