Role – Hadoop Tester

Location – Dallas, Texas

Duration- LongTerm Contract

 

Experience: 4 years

·               Working knowledge in one NoSQL database like Cassandra, HBase, Couchbase, Hadoop, Hive, Spark/Shark, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Kibana, Fluentd, Kafka

·               Shell scripting. Python, ETL skills must.

·               Test planning includes defining the Test Strategy, In/Out of Scope requirements in testing, Resource planning, Test Environment, Effort estimation on Test Design and Test

·               Execution, Defining Acceptance and Exit gate in each phase of testing (Unit Test, Integration Test, System Test,  Acceptance Test ) during Software delivery.

·               Expert in creation of test scenarios/cases which meets the business requirements/mapping documents.

·               Hands on experience with Test Plan/Test Lab and Defects modules in Jira.

·               Create clear and understandable Test scenarios, Test cases and defects/bugs and defect tracking

·               Test Data Management, Preparing Mock up data.

·               Design Verification with Dev/architect on the product functionality to verify both Functional and Non-Functional requirements.

·               Defect Management, Managing Test Execution in Zephyr through JIRA tool

·               Strong background and understanding of Hadoop platform.
