Job summary
Work with OEM vendors in identifying the recommended code version for upgrade.
Validate hardware compatibility for applying the planned code upgrade.
Prepare step by step guide/runbook for patch upgrade with a backup plan.
CR creation, coordination, approvals.
Coordination of patch management process and interaction with various stakeholder groups. Monitoring patch deployments.
Device configuration backup and restoration.
Provide Hands and feet support during upgrades.
Required Skills: Switching & Routing Cisco, Load Balancer BIG IP / F5, Infloblox IPAM, Palo Alto Internet Gateway,
Cisco ISE
Shift: Standard with occasional weekend maintenance
Roles & Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and debug Networking related issues & triage issues as needed.
Work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
Document processes and create technical documentation.
Perform Bug Scrubbing activity and provide industry standard solutions for BugFix.
Ability to think outside the box to solve complex technical issues.
Use professional concepts and company objectives to solve complex issues.
Manage cross country teams and mentor them and solve any technical issues and provide solutions.
Partnering with technical and business leaders across the organization to drive value from the technology solutions.
Identify and remove waste in the software development lifecycle to improve flow, throughput, productivity and quality.
