We have urgent requirements  with our implementation for the below requirement.

Oracle Cloud DBA

 Richmond, Virginia Remote 

Visa: GC USC EAD H1B with PP number 

Rate $60/hr C2C

Responsibilities / Expected Deliverables:

1. Implementation or Support experience as a OCI Admin + DBA for 1 or 2 Oracle Cloud Projects
2. Knowledge of VM, OS , N/W , Storage & User Management in OCI
3. Infrastructure provisioning including server, storage, network, operating sys items
4. User access management (on exception basis. There will be a flow from HR system to Fin Cloud )
5. Support Migration Services in OCI
6. Monitoring the various services in OCI
7. Performance Tuning
8. Hardening the VM images & Remediation of vulnerabilities if any
9. DR Support for OCI instances
10. Ensure success of Oracle Policy based automatic backups of Server boot and Block storage volumes
11. Database Administration on Oracle PaaS
12. Ad-hoc manual backups and restorations when required
13. Handling Oracle quarterly patch releases for Oracle Cloud Applications. Coordination with Oracle for any OCI
issues. Coordination with application team and/or testing team on regression testing.
14. Strong in coordination with Oracle in SR management and should understand the segregation of roles and
responsibilities in a Cloud Support Model specially SaaS and PaaS modes
15. Should have experience in engaging with Business users and Customer SMEs to understand requirements

and provide solutions.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):

Must-Have** 1. Expertise in Oracle Cloud Environment provisioning and communication
with Oracle on environment refresh, sizing
2. Should be capable to troubleshoot Cloud Technical issues in Production and provide quick resolution

3. Certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

4. Good understanding of Application user maintenance, Security and role provisioning
5. Exposure to Cloud technical tools like File based import, ADF etc.
6. Excellent communication skills – written and oral
7. Capability/ willingness to learn Oracle Cloud future releases
8. Should be able to work independently as well as team player andconversant in working with onsite / offshore model

Good-to-Have

1. Prior-experience in Customer facing roles will be an added advantage
2. Prior experience working in production support environment and

implementation projects
