Position summary:
Play a role of Program manager providing implementation solution and recommendation across multiple line of business/products.
· Manage POS lab and testing effort for POS.
· Lead both functional and Test Automation efforts for complex to medium projects
· Collaborate with Customer and Team members to review requirements and provide technical solution.
· Setup Automation framework and identity opportunities for uplifting current automation capabilities to latest technologies and tools.
· Mentor internal cognizant team and help deliver a good quality product adhering to SDLC process
· Build Roadmap and strategy for customer vision and lead efforts to achieve end goal
· Perform Proof of concept as & when needed
· Effectively communicate with customers and other stake holders
· Provide Daily/Weekly status reports by assessing project health, highlighting Issues and Risks against project milestone proactively to customer
· Create technical document , build automation framework/scripts and Peer review of code by other automation team, maintenance of existing automation scripts
What are the top Must Haves for this role?
More than 15 years of experience in Retail domain industry with expertise in Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Order Management, Point of Sale, Supply chain and Pricing.
· POS test experience is good to have.
· Experience in Automation framework like BDD, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber or WebDriver or Cypress
· Expert in Core Java, JavaScript, or Typescript Programming languages
· Experience in CI/CD tools
· Postman tool (manual) test experience for SoapUI and Rest Assured
· Effective communication
· Ability to handle bigger automation team and larger automation program
