Role: Java Developer/Programmer 
Location: New York City, NY

Duration:  24 Months

 

This is a back-fill position and the client is looking for a candidate who is extremely knowledgeable and with at least 10 plus years’ experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Programmer:

·         Analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team- Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions.

·         Candidate is able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field

 

Requested Qualifications

·         7+ Years’ Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) following the Rational Unified Process (RUP).

·         7+ Years’ Experience in Designing and Implementing Information Technology Solutions.

·         7+ Years’ Experience developing Java Web Applications.

·         5 Years’ Experience in using the Struts 2.0 framework.

·         4 Years’ Experience developing Java Web Services.

·         1 Years’ Experience in integrating with IBM FileNet.

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
