We have urgent requirements  with our implementation for the below requirement.

 NOTE: C2C first 6 months and after that C2H with the client.

Sr. Devops Engineer / Sr. Platform Engineer
Remote
Rate – $55/ hr C2H
# of Positions - 2

Visa: GC USC EAD 

Devops Engineer -  CI/CD, Gitlab and Gitlab CI (functional hands-on), Openshift
(functional hands-on), Docker, Kubernetes, Envoy (preferred, but not necessary.
Healthy balance of both Dev and Ops side, more on Dev side preferred currently

Responsibilities

 Influences technical direction for large scale, highly complex technical initiatives and/or projects requiring integration of cross-functional systems.
 Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
 Keeps management appropriately informed of progress and issues.
 Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
 Document and design various processes; update existing processes
 Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on best practices and processes
 Improve infrastructure development and application development
 Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
 Test implemented designs
 Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects
 Actively mentors and contributes to the technical and soft skills development of internal and third-party teams.
 Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company

Required Skills / Qualifications -

Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be
substituted in lieu of a degree

6+ years of DevOps/Platform Engineering experience demonstrating depth of technical and
functional understanding within specific I/T discipline(s)/technology(s)

Desired Qualifications

 4+ years’ experience implementing AWS technologies and services
3+ years’ experience orchestrating and automating continuous delivery pipelines
3+ years’ experience working with container technologies and cloud deployments
3+ years of experience integrating automated testing tools into delivery pipelines
Experience with setting Dev Ops Strategy and hands on experience with CI tools such as
GitLab CI, Gradle, and/or npm
Working experience with Linux or similar tools
Experience with setting Dev Ops Strategy and hands on experience with Automated

Integration and Functional Test Suites like Selenium, WebDriverIO, Ready API, Postman,
JUnit, Mockito, Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Cucumber, Jest, PIT
Working experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure as code tools
Experience with setting Dev Ops Strategy and hands on experience with production cloud
deployments (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Docker, Artifactory)
Experience with setting Dev Ops Strategy and hands on experience with integrating static
code analysis and security testing tools into delivery pipeline (Coverity, Sonar)
