Location: Southfield, MI(Remote till covid)

Position summary:

'The software engineer is responsible for the development and testing of Java codes for Sybase to SQL Migration. Remediating the Java and Sybase code to make it compatible with SQL server. 

 

Technical Skills Required:

-Experience with core Java (1.6-1.8), Spring MVC, Spring-boot ,  Soap and Rest Web services , data structures , SQL server with  Java.

 -Working knowledge of software engineering techniques (design, development, and testing techniques). 

Mature skill set in problem identification, problem resolution, triage, and mitigation strategies Experience working in a Linux environment, along with development of cross platform applications

-Ability to work both in a self-directed manner in addition to working collaboratively with one or more members of the team

 

Experience Preferred:

-Knowledge and experience with software engineering design patterns, and Experience working with analytics/optimization/big data

-Exposure to Agile methodologies and practices

-Experience working with highly parallelized applications N/A
