Position: Sr. SAP FICO Analyst

Location: Marysville, OH

Duration: 6+ months

• We are looking for a new contract worker to support our IT organization as an Senior Analyst SAP FICO (see below Job Description). This associate will provide support to our current team by assisting with maintaining the Finance areas in SAP, such as AR, AP, Product Costing, etc. We are seeking someone with experience in SAP development, SAP configuration, and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Initial Duration: 6 - 12 months starting
• ASAP Onsite: Marysville, OH

Opportunity Description

• As part of the Business Transformation organization, the SAP FICO Support Consultant will maintain the Finance areas of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Treasury/Banking, Product Costing (specifically needs Material Ledger experience!! A MUST!!), and Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Configuration to meet business requirements
• SAP specification development for custom ABAP programs where standard SAP functionality does not address business requirements (Don’t need a complete techno-functional resource, but someone that can debug some code and make small fixes from time to time)
• Unit testing and cross-functional integration testing for solutions
• Provide timely production support for break-fix issues
• Assist in gathering requirements, design, and developing minor and major system enhancements
• Prioritize business enhancements requests by identifying business value, tracking time and dollar
  savings
• Support production environment by troubleshooting system issues and providing system solutions
  or process improvement options
• Ensure user documentation is up to date with changes to processes, new processes, and system
  design changes
• Ensure the business systems are secure and reliable supporting continuous operation of the
  company
• Collaborate with internal Business Partners and work cross -functionally with department team
  members
• Drives continuous improvement by collaborating with business and department associates in areas
  of opportunity

 

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• At least 6 years of SAP experience, with expert knowledge in several areas
• Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in SAP configuration
• Experience reading, debugging and developing ABAP spec preferred
• Fundamental understanding of Workflow, IDOCs, and EDI support
• Working knowledge of other SAP module integration points is preferred for this role
• Knowledge of project management concepts and deliverables

Proficient in technical documentation and functional ABAP specification writing
