Critical Key requirements

·         Functional and technical experience in PeopleSoft Security

·         Experience using PeopleSoft reporting tools including Crystal, nVision, and Query

 

SUMMARY of the FUNCTION/Role

The IT Security Department, Identity & Access Management division is seeking a consultant for Albany Disaster Recovery and PeopleSoft Refresh project.   The request is for an experience in PeopleSoft Security Administration; responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of all aspects of system security for multiple PeopleSoft application environments, including HCM, ELM, EPM, FSCM and Interaction Hub.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design, implement and maintain all aspects of system security for multiple PeopleSoft application environments, including HCM, ELM, EPM, FSCM and Interaction Hub.
2. Review and analyze the current People Tools deployment.
3. Prepare a People Tools solution center environment specific to any PUM upgrades.
4. Install a demo of People Tools 8.55 and upgrade a single development environment to the 8.55 release.
5. Test the upgraded development environment via rigorous test scripts and standards, and move the upgraded development to production upon approval of successful test results.
6. Provide professional support and expertise throughout the upgrade process.
7. Development of appropriate security roles and permissions lists in support of business processes.

 

RiskS

·         This will be work performed primarily on MTA premises and may require remote access work for support.

·         No work will be performed within 50 feet of track right-of-way.  

·         No work be in areas with environmental risks (lead, asbestos) -- substantial or minimal.

Qualifications EXPERIENCE & eDUCATION

·         Experience of 7-10 years in PeopleSoft application security design, configuration, and maintenance, to include at least 2 new implementations.

·         Experience functionally and technically in PeopleSoft Security for HCM, ELM, EPM, FSCM Interaction Hub (Portal) version 9.2 and 9.1.

·         PeopleSoft application security planning, design and configuration experience should include User Profiles & Preferences, Static & Dynamic Roles, Functional and Primary Permission Lists, Query & Department Trees, Process Profiles and Definition Security.

·         Experience configuring and implementing Process Groups, Component Interfaces, Web Libraries, Web Services.

·         Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools including Crystal, nVision, and Query.

·         Familiarity with People Tools 8.5x. toolset including Application Engine, Application Messaging, Component Interface, Integration Broker and People Code.

·         Familiarity with federated authentication e.g. authenticating with Identity Providers to facilitate access to resources offered by Service Providers.

·         Experience designing implementing a PeopleSoft application security model in a large organizations environment.

·         Working knowledge of all aspects of the security audit process.

·         Detailed understanding of, and experience with, ITIL processes.

·         Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

·         Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 or higher.

·         Familiarity with Microsoft Project version 2010 or higher.

·         Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment.

·         Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; a self-starter.
