Position summary:
Experience: 8 to 10 years
Required Skills: CICS, COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Mainframe, IBM utilities, Fileaid, Endeavor
Top 3 Must Haves:
1. Mainframe architecture
2. Cobol, DB2, JCL, CICS
3. incident management
Job summary: Design, build, test, and deliver mainframe changes and enhancements for the company's end users and customers, based on requirements gathered from business analysts and end users.
This includes code changes and compilation, application builds, and unit testing.
Communicates to business and technical partners on incidents as they occur when they impact system performance or availability.
Consult with business & IT partners on the evaluation of software especially as it relates to support considerations
Periodically review and update the DR scripts to keep them updated.
Resolve functional and system errors as identified by Business Partners
Work with other technical teams to resolve infrastructure related problems
