Node JS Developer

Jersey City , NJ

1 year contract.

 

Job Description:

Must Have:

• Strong hands on experience in Node JS, Socket.io, JSON, XML

• Test Driven Development in JavaScript framework

• Web Sockets programming for real time data, mutli-threading

• Java, Strong OOPS fundamentals

• Working of SOA and design patterns

• Database experience with Oracle, SQL etc.

• Strong experience with timeseries data, data structures such as trees/maps/lists.

• Strong communication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with business and other stake holders

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative taking

 

Nice to have Skills:

• Prior Investment Banking experience (particularly in Equities) is highly desirable

• Understanding and esperience with UI Javascript frameworks like ReactJS, AngJS is desirable

• Experience with JIRA, GIT/Bitbucket highly desired.

• KDb+/Q is a plus.

• Understanding of Agile processes is desirable.
