Job Description:

Domain Skills:

• Extensive Experience in working for Insurance Domain.

QA / Person Skills:

• Extensive experience working with end-to-end testing processes and methodologies/frameworks.
• Ability to articulate the role of testing in an overall QA function and to influence a team of testers and developers towards a culture of “fail early” and “building quality in”.
• Exposure to Agile (Scrum) methodology
• Exposure to development environments using Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployments
• Experience analyzing business requirements, functional specifications and with collaborative specification
• Defect Analysis and management experience
• Preparation of defect reports and defect metrics, preferably automated
• Experience of Agile workload planning and management (Stories, Tasks, etc)
• Ability to interact with all stakeholders of the project including the technical team.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in delivering software testing solutions for both Web based and Service level testing using Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, Gherkin and Java.
• Strong foundation in Core Java and demonstrable experience in object oriented programming concepts (Abstraction, Encapsulation, Polymorphism etc).
• Focus on code quality and understanding of clean coding principles is a must.
• Exposure to design patterns like Singleton, Factory and Facade patterns.
• Exposure to Rest Assured for service testing.
• Exposure to build tools like Maven.

Exposure to Relational databases - SQL, Oracle.
