Do you have 10+ years’ experience in Veritas (Symantec) NetBackup (software and appliances)?
Experience with 24x7x365 Support model with US Shift hours and will need to jump on SEV1/SEV2 issues on call 24x7?
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with AIX Operating System (Ver 5.x – 7.x)
5+ years of experience with Linux OS (RHEL & CentOS, various versions)
5+ years of Server hardware lifecycle management - IBM Frame P7 & P8
(Pseries configuration), Dell PowerEdge & HP ProLiant servers
2+ years of Backup management
General consulting skills including : analysis and problem solving, written and
verbal communication, and team collaboration
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Optional Qualifications:
Experience with Solaris, HP-UX
Experience with SAN Storage (especially EMC or NetApp),
Experience with VMware ESX, vCenter
