Quality Assurance Analyst
Position Summary
We are looking for a responsible, self-motivated candidate with interest to learn Software Quality Assurance discipline.
This person will be working closely with architects, developers, business analysts and users to ensure that developed functionality meets requirements through testing and validation.
This entry level position offers tremendous opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with business and IT to document requirements
· Constructing test scenarios, test scripts and functional test reports
· Executing test scenarios and scripts
· Validating software compliance and usability
· Generate, compare and validate test data
· Work with internal and external development teams
· Documenting defects and anomalies
Required Skills and Experience
· Knowledge in Selenium, eclipse being able to both test and code is big plus
· Jenkins/automated pipeline experience (integration/execution)
· Has previous testing knowledge, Both Functional and regression automaton
· Preferable to know Java
· Analytical thinking - using logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and find strengths and weaknesses; Know what questions to ask, when/how to ask them
· Strong work ethic
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of the Microsoft suite of tools and basic SQL
Technology Stack:
Java, Selenium, and exposure to various QA processes, including Regression, Functional, Integration, System, Sanity, Smoke, User-interface (GUI), User Acceptance (UAT), Compatibility,
Cross Browser, and Database Testing.
