Position: Sr. ServiceNow Developer
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: Long Term

Certified ServiceNow Developer/Integration Specialist.

Skills/Experience:

• Strong ServiceNow developer with 2+ yrs. of ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience with Web Service Integrations (SOAP / RESTful) in ServiceNow.
• Experience in Service Catalog development and Workflows.
• Experience working in Demand Management, Incident, Problem, Change, Survey, Knowledge and Cloud Management.
• Experience with CMDB/Asset Management preferred.
• Must have experience with building Custom Applications in ServiceNow.
• Experience with Integrating ServiceNow Applications with third party applications including cloud applications (AWS)
• Expertise with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Policies, etc.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML and ServiceNow Glide API’s.
• Certified ServiceNow Administrator / Implementation Specialist.
• Certified ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and customize ServiceNow Applications using OOTB modules including but not limited to Change, Problem, Incident, and Service Requests.
• Design and develop custom applications as needed based on the requirements.
• Coach and mentor other junior members in ServiceNow area.
• Serve as a technical expert in ServiceNow development and Integration areas.
• Work within Agile project teams, continuously releasing application software.
• Responsible for ensuring the timely and high-quality release of modules in ServiceNow.

Job Description:

• 10+ yrs overall experience
• Experience of working and creating automation in the IT infrastructure space
• 2+ years experience in Java
• 2+ years of experience in JavaScript
• 3+ years experience in any scripting language (Python, shell scripts, Perl, etc)
• Exposure to Linux, Windows, Databases, and networking
• Experience in integrating applications via APIs, JDBC, etc
• Worked as an SME, individual contributor and Technical lead of small technical teams
• Good communication skills
• Good documentation skills
• Ability to find  to problems
• Experience in requirement gathering
• Quick learner
