Position summary:

•            The Program Manager is responsible for driving the Azure Product Launch readiness program and Retirement program.  Both programs help Azure teams meet the Azure policy when you launch a product/feature or plan on announcing a retirement of such. 

•            Excellent communication skills in helping these teams drive clarity and meeting their deadlines on product launch/retirement. 

•            Understanding of Azure technologies and can quickly ramp up on the details of the product.  

•            Familiarity of software lifecycle; preferably have gone through some themselves.  

•            Understanding of Azure policies and work to facilitate the work necessary between the product team and the policy owning team.

 

Skills & Experience 

•            Minimum 5-8 years of PM experience with focus on large scale product launches and migration programs.

•            Working knowledge of ADO, Excel, Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint. 

•            Experience operating as an influencer to cross-functional teams. 

•            Experience gathering business and technical requirements and turning them into detailed project plans and milestones, and communication of overall project status. 

•            Excellent oral/written communication skills
