Position summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS Athena, AWS, Python, Redshift, Spark, and AWS Glue ETL.

Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus.

This role involves working on complex geospatial data projects that will drive significant impact on our business and society.

8.Responsibilities :

- Lead the development and implementation of geospatial data solutions using AWS Athena, AWS, Python, Redshift, Spark, and AWS Glue ETL.

- Oversee the integration of geospatial data into existing systems to enhance data accessibility and usability.

- Provide technical expertise in the design and optimization of geospatial data pipelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of geospatial data through rigorous testing and validation processes.

- Develop and maintain documentation for geospatial data processes and workflows.

- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to geospatial data processing and provide timely resolutions.

- Implement best practices for data security and compliance in handling geospatial data.

- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of geospatial data queries to improve efficiency.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers in geospatial data technologies and best practices.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technologies and incorporate them into the projects.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of geospatial data management processes.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and deliverables.

 

-Qualifications

- Possess a strong background in AWS Athena, AWS, Python, Redshift, Spark, and AWS Glue ETL.

- Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing geospatial data solutions.

- Exhibit proficiency in integrating geospatial data into existing systems.

- Show expertise in designing and optimizing geospatial data pipelines.

- Have a track record of ensuring data accuracy and integrity through testing and validation.

- Display knowledge of best practices for data security and compliance.

- Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
