AA Platform Administrator : We are looking for a Azure Platform Admin with expertise in managing the storage as BLOB Datalake Cosmos DB on Azure platform to join our team to strengthen the current Advanced Analytics capabilities manage/administrate analytics platform resource delivery and sustainment for small to large-scale analytic/data management projects.
This is a highly technical position responsible for evaluating and implementing new data and analytics technologies and managing analytics infrastructure support. - This role will be managing Advanced Analytics Technology platform support – managing daily administration tasks including system provisioning performance monitoring access management and version upgrades on a variety of big data technologies both in cloud environments (Accountable) _this role will be for monitoring Building and Managing Clusters (Interactive & Job Clusters) Cluster performance and resource usage management & monitoring Manage cluster log files and cluster environment configurations Data Lake Folder Hierarchy Management - This role will be deploying new analytics tools and technologies to improve the performance functionality and cost of analytics solutions – this includes supporting new technology evaluations as well as 1st time deployments. - This role will be evaluating new analytics tools and technologies to improve the performance functionality and cost of analytics solutions (Responsible Accountable) - This role serves as a technology SME consulting with Advanced Analytics architects and leadership (Consulted) - This role serves as a technology SME for Advanced Analytics data engineers – supporting data ingestion and transformation technologies and implement performance tuning strategies – (Responsible Accountable) - This role serves as a technology SME for Advanced Analytics Data Scientists – supporting analytics and machine learning tools like R Python Jupyter Knime and integration with data sources and other Pepsico infrastructure. Qualifications: - BA/BS required preferably in Computer Science Data Analytics Data Architecture Required Skillset: - Experience with Microsoft Azure systems deployment is desirable. - 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in managing and administrating Azure cloud platform (Blob ADLS Eventshub IOT Databricks Stream Analytics Synapse CosmosDB ADF VMs AzureKubernetes Spark etc) - 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Hadoop/Linux administration and/or Data/Analytics ecosystem components - 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and managing data ingestion pipes for batch real-time and streams on Azure cloud platform at scale. - 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in providing sustainable support for Presto Denodo Tellius Alteryx Trifacta Neo4j or similar tools. - Having exposure/experience in Snowflake Teradata Alation AWS GCP etc will be an added advantage. - Solid communication and organizational skills and experience working with diverse teams - Highly analytical motivated decisive thought leader with solid critical thinking ability to quickly connect technical and business ‘dots’ - Manage platform support efforts of junior team members - Having exposure to R and ML technologies is a plus 3.
