Position: Data engineer(9+yrs. Exp. needed)

Location: Bellevue, WA(Hybrid)

Type: long term contract

Rate: 50/hr.

Position summary:

Skills required: Cosmos + SQL experience / experience on MSBI stack – SSIS/SSAS. Any knowledge on C# and Azure Data Factory would be a plus.

 

Individual with strong technical background in SQL Server, BI, Data Analysis and strong knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts.
a) Should be able write complex and efficient -SQL queries.
b) Should be able design & Implement end-end data pipelines using cosmos and ADF.
c) Problem analysis and troubleshooting complex & “large volume of dataset’s” data issues.

Skills Required:

1. Proven experience in SQL Server writing complex T-SQL queries, Performance tuning.
2. Proven experience in Data Analysis dealing with large volume of datasets.
3. Proven experience in Design & Implementation of end-end data pipelines.
4. Should have strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
5. Should have very good experience in BI tools (but not limited to)
   a. ETL tools like SSIS
   b. Reporting tools like Power BI,
   c.  Analytical tools like SSAS – Tabular and multi-Dimensional Cubes and MDX queries.
6. Cosmos and scope scripts
7. Good to have knowledge of Microsoft Big Data Technologies.
8. Good to have knowledge of Azure Data Factory and C#
9. Excellent communication skills – direct communication with Client
