Role: Business System Analyst

Location: St Louis, MO

Duration: 6 months+

Visa Type: GC, USC or EAD's(No OPT's)

Provide larger solutions 

Business says what they want and relay the specifics of what needs to be done

Needing someone who can convert business speak to technical speak 

Provide solutions to problems, manage expectations, handle impacts

Very comfortable using computer, comfortable publishing info, strong communication skills

Ability to work with vendors, technical people and non technical people

Ensure delivery on what things need to be finished

Working on a Database application, running querries, data analysis (they don't need to be SQL experts)

Someone who feels comfortable when a vendor provides a querry, they need to find the info, take it, read it, understand, etc. 

Agile Background

Position Purpose: Design, build, test and maintain enablers of business processes, including technology and process solutions with a focus on medium to high complexity, multiple large application business processes and/or business relationships

Contribute to the entire implementation process

Drive definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements

Responsible for overall solution design, build and test, root cause analysis, and advanced performance tuning complex business processes and functionality

Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives

May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Write manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures

Qualifications

Top Skill Sets: Database Skills (Reading & Writing queries) SQL Server, Project Management.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related experience. Knowledge of programming languages, project management, and application or systems development methodologies. RFP, contracting and new business implementation may be required. Intermediate SQL query skills.
